State manufacturers make plans to battle pandemic

Even as they wait for the Trump administration’s enforcement of the Defense Production Act, South Carolina manufacturers PAI Pharma and QM Group are gearing up to provide critical medical supplies amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Milliken & Co. is boosting domestic production of an anti-microbial fabric technology used in scrubs, lab coats and other medical products.

Greenville validated to process COVID-19 tests

Greenville-based Premier Medical Laboratory Services has become the first commercial laboratory in the state validated to perform COVID-19 testing, the company announced today. Premier will offer test results within 24-48 hours after receiving the sample and plans to boost its current testing capacity of 1,000 tests per day to 28,000 per week.

Sunoco Products Co. sold the property to Diego Meseguer. CBRE’s Trey Pennington, Nick Hollstegge and Jeff Benedict partnered with Avison Young to represent the seller in the transaction.
