Xpress Reviews WEB-FIRST REVIEWS OF BOOKS AND MEDIA Margaret Atwood's The Testaments is one of this week's starred fiction selections. "If The Handmaid’s Tale chills to the marrow, its sequel surges along with a sort of dark ebullience, absorbing as a thriller and ultimately hopeful even as it highlights the dangers that always lie in wait." Joe Zieja's latest sff title, System Failure, book three in the "Epic Failure" trilogy, is another starred selection. "A great introduction to space opera for novices and a fun time for all. This novel can be read as a stand-alone, but starting with the previous two books in the series will offer the best experience." See All Reviews››› |
