Beyond business as usual:
Aligning business strategy and climate action with the SDGs

Two years on from the launch of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Corporate Citizenship has been looking at how businesses have responded to the Global Goals, and what initial implications and opportunities the Goals have presented.

Earlier this year we conducted our annual practitioner survey to identify how corporates are engaging with the Global Goals and for their views on the SDGs. Ahead of the release of our latest report, catch up on our recent webinar that explores how companies are aligning their sustainability strategies with the SDGs and how they are using them to inform and guide business decision making.

Service Spotlight - Impact Measurement

Helping companies to map and assess their social, economic and environmental impacts across the value chain

The launch of the UN Global Goals marks a new acceptance of business as part of the solution, and not always the problem. Corporate Citizenship’s Impact for Change approach helps companies to answer the following questions:

  • Which business impacts matter the most for development?
  • How does business convince key stakeholders that it makes a meaningful contribution?
  • What models of partnership are most effective in scaling positive change?
  • Can innovation in products, services or business models help to tap into new markets while addressing a vital need?

We’ve found that when companies develop a thorough, data-driven understanding of their impacts they can use this to improve their dialogue with others, build resilience in the supply chain and create new growth opportunities. In other words, to become a better business in a better world.

Contact our team about how we can help you with your impact measurement requirements, or call us directly on +44 (0)20 7861 1616.
