WINNING WAYS SET UP TWO MUST-SEE REDS MATCHES The Queensland Reds women are back at Ballymore Stadium on Sunday afternoon for a knockout semi-final against the Fijian Drua after a superb seven-try performance to beat the Western Force last weekend. Three-try prop Eva Karpani is urging a big home crowd to turn out: "We play our best footy when at home so it was absolutely in our minds to win (over the Force) and be at Ballymore for a semi." Skipper Ryan Smith and the Reds earned a late 28-24 decision over the Force at Suncorp Stadium. The Reds are now on top of a multi-country Super Rugby table for the first time since 2012. Next up...a beauty against the second-placed Chiefs in Hamilton on Friday night. |
