| After spending the day in the break, Coryn Rivera used all of her experience and guile to take Team DSM's third Giro Donne victory in the two-up sprint finish.
A fierce day of racing saw a strong five rider break go clear on the opening climb. The intense fight continued throughout the stage but after some dogged riding by Rivera and her breakaway companions, they fought it out for the win in Cormons. Producing an incredibly punchy sprint finish on the slight drag to the line, Rivera used her experience with a perfectly timed bike throw to take victory; raising her arm aloft in celebration.
