This is incredible. But consider it a template. Change breads; change fillings. Make a sandwich. Dip it in eggwash. Cook it on the griddle.

We recommend a lower heat so the heat has time to soak through both slices.

Choose a jam or choose a pastry filling. We prefer cherry pastry filling but look at the jams you can use.
