In a Facebook post, a state lawmaker raised a question of fraud in Utah's GOP primary election.
What happened: Rep. Phil Lyman, R-Blanding, posted that he had several "reports" from people who claimed a voting machine changed their in-person vote for Sen. Mike Lee to Becky Edwards.
What does the state say? State officials confirmed that every voter –– all eight of them –– were able to cast a ballot for their preferred candidates.
“There were some issues but the poll workers were able to resolve it and the people confirmed that the ballots printed out the votes that they had wanted,” Wasatch County clerk-auditor Joey Granger told KSL.
