Countybank processes $61 million in PPP funding

Construction jobs increase in 31 states from May to June

South Carolina added 1,400 jobs in the month of May and has seen a year-to-year increase of 1.7%. An industry group warns, though, that data show jobsite hours beginning to drop. 

Walmart brings distribution center to Lowcountry

The storage and cross-dock facility, which is expected to take 14 months to build, will be near Ridgeville in Dorchester County. The building has nearly 3 million square feet upon completion.
