One of Louisiana’s premier poker rooms returned to action last week as Coushatta Casino Resort announced that its poker room opened on June 17.
The 10-table room offers the same games as previously spread and poker players can expect to choose from $4-$8 limit hold’em, $1-$3 no-limit hold’em, $2-$5 no-limit hold’em and a $4-$8 Omaha hi-lo with a ½ kill. Staff are also taking an interest list for other games and stakes upon request.
In compliance with guidelines from local officials to ensure the safety of its players, Coushatta’s poker room is running games with no more than seven players at a table, to ensure social distancing.
The staff switches out and sanitizes decks on a regular basis, hand sanitizer stations are placed around the room and players are required to wear masks.
Coushatta Casino Resort is one of Southwest Louisiana’s premier gaming destinations and is located two hours west of Baton Rouge in Kinder.
