COVID-19 4 day lockdown in Cockburn

Due to the Premier's announcement on Monday 28 June about the Perth and Peel lockdown, all Cockburn facilities, buildings, services and amenities are temporarily closed until 12.01am Saturday 3 July, pending ongoing health advice.

Facilities and amenities temporarily closed

  • Administration and Operations Centre
  • Cockburn ARC
  • Seniors Centre
  • Henderson Waste Recovery Park HWRP (transfer station open only to commercial trucks)
  • Bibra Lake Regional Playground
  • Port Coogee Marina
  • Cockburn Libraries
  • Reuse Shop (at the HWRP)
  • Cockburn Youth Centre
  • Azelia Ley Museum
  • Volunteer Resource Centre
  • All community facilities for hire.

All programs at the various centres are postponed until further notice.

While the following are not closed given the length of the lockdown, as per State regulations, please do not use these amenities during lockdown:

  • Playgrounds, pump tracks and skateparks
  • Dog parks
  • Exercise equipment
  • Barbecues
  • Water play areas
  • Drinking fountains.

A reminder to our community

  • Masks are mandatory
  • Practice physical distancing (keep at least 1.5 metres from each other)
  • Practice good personal hygiene 
  • If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, get tested for COVID-19
  • Download and use the SafeWA app.
