 Adelaide residents between the age of 40 and 49 can now get vaccinated, after the state government lowered the age barrier. In country areas anyone over the age of 16 can get their COVID-19 vaccine, however in Adelaide some age limits remain.

 Voluntary assisted dying laws have passed South Australia's lower house with amendments, and will now head back to the upper house for a final approval.

 The Scottish-born performer Alan Cummings, who is director of this year's Adelaide Cabaret Festival, emerged from hotel quarantine late last week, and said he was a bit "overwhelmed" by the freedoms being enjoyed by those in Adelaide.

 The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (ASO) announced a six-concert Festival of Orchestra (FOFO), which will include a set of dance classics via the Ministry of Sound franchise and a performance with The Angels for 20 of their greatest hits.
According to ASO managing director Vincent Ciccarello, pop music performance collaborations with orchestras have been occurring worldwide in a "concerted way" for nearly 20 years. |

 The main street of Hahndorf is the prime tourist attraction for those visiting the beautiful Adelaide Hills town. And while locals may call it Main Street, the official address places it on Mount Barker Road.

 Some elective surgeries have been rescheduled as South Australia's health system battles surging demand, which has also triggered a "major incident alert" at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
The chief executive of SA's Health Department has sent out a letter to staff, saying that patients are being referred to other medical facilities — including some private hospitals — as spare bed capacity is urgently sought. |

 The Adelaide Crows have been fined $50,000 for breaching COVID-19 restrictions after an image surfaced showing players and staff not wearing masks while on a flight.
