The executive branch of the European Union has withdrawn its “guidelines for inclusive communication” approximately one month after it was issued. The guidelines recommended that European Commission officials “update” the language they use by replacing the word “Christmas” with “holiday times" and avoiding “gendered” words, as well as "Christian names" to avoid giving the impression of "intolerance or judgment." Antonio Tajani, former president of the European Parliament, was among those who pushed back on the guidelines, tweeting, "Inclusion does not mean denying the Christian roots of the #EU."
Victor Davis Hanson writes about the "third worldizing" of America and the dangers of accepting a broken class structure where out-of-touch multimillionaires like actor Seth Rogen fail to understand the implications of a breakdown of the law. "In a medieval-type society of two rather than three classes, the rich in walled estates rarely worry that much about thievery. Crime is written off as an intramural problem of the poor, especially when the middle class is in decline or nonexistent," he asserts.

Stand for life

Nearly 50 years after Roe v. Wade, we face a historic opportunity: a chance to reverse this U.S. Supreme Court ruling that left millions of innocent lives dead in its wake.

Dobbs. v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which the Supreme Court heard on December 1, could overturn Roe and return the issue of abortion back to the states.

Roe is now on the ropes. Supporters of the abortion agenda know it.

With your help, Alliance Defending Freedom is funding and engaging in efforts to encourage the Supreme Court to overturn Roe and protect life.

But this defense of life is only possible with God’s blessing (John 15:5) and your faithful support. So please make your best gift today to stand for life and help create a nation in which life is protected, and abortion is unthinkable.

Thank you in advance for giving!
