World | Civilians burned alive by Burmese army on Christmas Eve | Myanmar’s ruling military burned alive at least 35 internally displaced people, including elders, women and children, in a village in eastern Kayah State on Christmas Eve, according to human rights groups. International aid group Save the Children reportedly said two of its staffers were missing in that massacre and that it is suspending operations in that region in Myanmar, previously known as Burma. Myanmar is ranked No. 18 on Open Doors USA’s 2021 World Watch List of 50 countries where Christians face the most severe persecution. |

Opinion | Op-ed: The No. 1 worldview today is Woody Allen’s | "When filmmaker Woody Allen was publicly exposed in 1992 as having an affair with the adopted daughter of his partner Mia Farrow (Soon-Yi Previn, 34 years his junior), his defense was simply, 'The heart wants what it wants,'" Robin Schumacher writes. In this op-ed, Schumacher discusses the dangers of a post-truth and pragmatic secular worldview where choosing one's self is prioritized over doing what is right and following God's will. "The heart wants what it wants so it deliberately thinks with its feelings instead of using the mind and facts to arrive at conclusions that may be distasteful at first, but saving in the end," he explains. |

U.S. | Graham talks Satan's 2,000 year attack on Christmas | The devil has been trying to destroy Christmas for 2,000 years, evangelist Franklin Graham said, responding to the installation of a goat-like satanic deity to mock a traditional Christian Nativity display inside the Illinois state Capitol. "King Herod sent his troops to Bethlehem to hunt for the baby Jesus to kill Him, and so the devil has been trying to destroy Christmas ever since ... this is just another very sad attempt.” |
