The family of a 12-year-old Christian girl from Pakistan’s Punjab province who was abducted by a Muslim man earlier this month fears she's been forcefully converted to Islam and married to her abductor, just as many other girls have been in the past. A 2014 report by The Movement for Solidarity and Peace Pakistan estimated that hundreds of women and girls from Pakistan's Hindu and Christian communities are abducted, forcibly married and converted to Islam every year.

North Dakota has banned the teaching of critical race theory in public schools, becoming the latest state to try to keep the controversial framework from entering the public school curriculum. Gov. Doug Burgum told Fox News,“[House Bill 1508] addresses the concerns of parents while preserving the decision-making authority of local school boards to approve curriculum that is factual, objective and aligned with state content standards."

A megachurch in Washington, D.C. recently helped commuters pay for gas expenses as prices at the pump are rising across the United States. Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church's “Gas on God” event provided 250 drivers with $20 each to help pay for gas at a station off Rhode Island Avenue.

With just 4% of millennials possessing a biblical worldview, Barna points out, "It must be difficult, if not impossible, to identify purpose when you dismiss God, reject the Bible, believe success is the outgrowth of personal accomplishments rather than obedience to God and consider life to be about you rather than your Creator."

A new Christian Bible platform known as The Video Bible is being created, and plans are in the works to one day launch it as a mobile app through a crowdfunded collaborative initiative that aims to fully illustrate Scripture. Currently, the Video Bible can be found on Youtube and on the platform’s website. Additionally, the YouVersion app has published some of the platform’s content.

Jamal Bryant, senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Georgia, called on pastors from around the country to join him Thursday in forming a “human prayer wall” against racism and injustice at the Glynn County Courthouse, where three white men are standing trial for the 2020 killing of 25-year-old unarmed black man Ahmaud Arbery. Bryant made the call during a Facebook Live broadcast on Saturday in the wake of an attorney for one of the accused saying in court last week that “we don’t want any more black pastors coming in here.”

Brown discusses the importance of learning from mistakes, saying, "All of us can make mistakes. All of us can be wrong about our prognostications. All of us can misjudge a situation. And all of us can have faulty 'sources' that, in the end, mislead us rather than inform us."
