Crash Simulations with a Pediatric Human Body Model

Over the past five years, CIRP engineers have utilized pediatric human body computational models to complement traditional laboratory-based research methods. We are pleased to offer two new simulation videos using the PIPER human body model that illustrate how differences in child passenger safety practices can impact a child’s injury risk in a crash.
