Penning “Crazy Rich Asians,” which has sold over five million copies worldwide and spawned successful sequels has made Kevin Kwan pretty crazy rich himself. The Singapore native has dropped $5.9 million on an estate just above L.A.’s iconic Sunset Strip; Built in 1948, the 3,800-square-foot structure was extensively renovated to include state-of-the-art security, dense landscaping, pricey stone finishes and designer appliances. Elsewhere, Dick Cavett has sold his so-called Tick Hall in the Hamptons, which hosted scores of notable visitors over the years, for $23.6 Million. The storybook home, set on 19 acres of land, has a rare private walkway to the beach, a private freshwater pond and lagoon-like swimming pool.
