A California court rejected a lawsuit from Uber drivers demanding a restraining order against the company because of in-app messaging regarding Proposition 22 in what they claimed was a violation of their political rights. The court ruled there was no "political coercion" by Uber regarding its sponsored gig worker ballot that will be decided by residents' votes on Nov. 3.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced to US employees in an internal message Wednesday that they will receive paid time off for the entire week of Thanksgiving. Zuckerberg wrote, "I hope you can disconnect and take the time to rest and recharge before the final push of the year."
