Dear friend and supporter,
As we approach Rosh Hashanah, Israel continues to face immense challenges. The operation in the West Bank is intensifying, posing one of the biggest threats to the country’s safety at this time. Meanwhile, Hezbollah continues to fire rockets, and we at Feed Israel are working tirelessly to fill 75,000 bomb shelters with essential emergency supplies.
These packages contain everything recommended by the Home Front Command—dry foods, water, hygiene products, batteries, a flashlight, and an emergency radio. Our distribution is coordinated with welfare authorities to ensure we reach those most in need. People are constantly reaching out to us for help, and the demand grows every day.
This week, one of our volunteers, Miriam from Ashdod, shared a particularly touching story:
"While delivering emergency supplies, I visited the home of a young family—Liora and her two children. Liora’s husband has been called to serve in the reserves, leaving her alone to care for their children. Their financial situation is already tough, and with the war, their anxiety has only worsened. When I handed Liora the emergency package, she broke down in tears and said, 'I didn’t know how we were going to make it through the next few days.'"
As we approach the High Holidays, the situation remains incredibly tough for so many people in Israel. We need your help to reach our goal of supporting 75,000 bomb shelters. Your support can make a real difference and perhaps even save lives.
