Dear Voornaam

Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent survey on the state of global collaboration post-Brexit. One message that came through very clearly was your continued support for the UK to rejoin Horizon Europe.

It has been widely reported that negotiations between UK and European officials are close to a deal, with the final say coming from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

We’ve leveraged your insights and support on this to once again make a strong call to both the UK and EU governments to close the deal and end two and a half years of uncertainty that has frustrated scientists and damaged the UK’s scientific reputation.
