Hello,
Welcome to your weekly Cancer Research UK Research Update email.
Climate change and environmental sustainability are critical challenges of our time, and were determined to play our part in tackling them, particularly where this intersects with our research mission. This week, weve published our Position Statement on Environmental Sustainability of Research. In it we detail what well do to reduce the impact on the environment of the research we fund. We also cover our expectation that all people involved in Cancer Research UK-funded research consider the impact of their research on the environment and, where appropriate, take actions to mitigate or manage this impact. We are keen to hear from you, as members of our research community, and your host institutions, on the areas where we can work together to make a difference. Do get in touch with your ideas. |
