The Health Research Authority has published a report on ways to improve clinical research in the UK and the experience of those taking part. It shares findings from the People-Centred Clinical Research project, identifying the key barriers and enablers to making clinical research more people centred.

The report offers 19 recommendations for system-wide improvements, in areas such as accessibility, opportunities, research design, engagement and capacity. It also introduces nine hallmarks of good practice that researcher will demonstrate if they are doing good people-centred clinical research.
