Verizon to acquire Yahoo for $4.83B Ending months of speculation, Verizon has agreed to buy Yahoo’s core operations and holdings for $4.83 billion in cash. StackPath emerges from stealth with $180M round Dallas-based cybersecurity startup StackPath emerged from stealth mode and announced that it has secured an investment from private equity firm ABRY Partners. TechCrunch reports a round size of $180 million, including $150 million from ABRY, with the company also acquiring four companies — MaxCDN, Fireblade, Cloak and Staminus — to launch a security-as-a-service platform.
