So this is what things have come to. The global pandemic has killed our inclination to go out and have actual human interaction, so big brands are now swooping in to help us recreate these experiences online. It truly is a boring dystopia.
Ironically, this is the exact same feeling that Meta managed to illicit with their Oculus ad. I really felt for that poor puppy, whose band presumably broke up due to strenuous COVID-19 lockdowns.
I nearly cried when his head was getting crushed by that trash compactor, and after two years of sparsely leaving the house, I really empathized with the poor pooch.
The only difference is I don't remember the Oculus being the solution to any of that. It mostly sits on the shelf these days...poor VR machine. |
