Each fall at CUESA, “back to school” means back to the kitchen for Foodwise Kids, CUESA's free farmers market field trip and cooking class program for elementary school students.

Get the whole family involved in shopping and cooking with fresh local ingredients! Cooking with children teaches skills that will serve them for life. Feel confident working with kids in the kitchen using our tips and seasonal recipes created by our team at Foodwise Kids.

A year after then Wine Country fire devastation, the Farmer’s Wife just opened their first brick-and-mortar in Sebastopol. Congrats to Kendra Kolling! You can still visit the Farmer's Wife at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market on Saturdays.
Big News for the Ferry Building
The Ferry Building has a new owner. Rest assured, CUESA and the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market are here to stay! This year, we renewed a 10-year lease with the Ferry Building, which will continue under the new ownership. We look forward to connecting San Franciscans and the greater Bay Area with local farmers and fresh, healthy food for years to come.

Almanac Beer Co. Launches New Farm-to-Barrel Brew

Almanac Beer teamed up with Sierra Cascade Blueberry Farm (another Ferry Plaza seller) to create their latest brew: Blueberry Sournova, a barrel-aged sour beer in a can! Pick it up tomorrow at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Visit their stand at Jack London Square this month, hosted in partnership with Mandela MarketPlace.
