The Thursday market just got greener! Join us in welcoming Carine and Robert Hines of Sun Tracker Farm, a five-acre organic farm in the beautiful Capay Valley. Now in their second year, Carine and Robert just started raising pastured chickens and geese. Find them at the market this Thursday with spring greens, Asian greens, baby kale, and various varieties of lettuce.

Spring has sprung at Jack London Square Farmers Market with the return of Triple Delight Blueberries, and Gotelli and Resendiz Farms with cherries. We're also thrilled to welcome Washoe Valley Duck Farm (duck eggs) and Elston Family Farm (hot-house tomatoes). Check them out on Sundays, 10 am to 3 pm!

Food Policy Updates: School Lunch, GMOs, and Farm Workers
On Monday, the Trump administration rolled back some school lunch nutrition requirements, but seven big districts say they won't relax their standards. Last week's budget deal to avert a government shutdown allocated $3 million to promote GMOs. And California's senators introduced a bill Wednesday to create a path to citizenship for farm workers.
