Zucchini and Beyond: A Farmers Market Guide to Summer Squash
It’s the first day of summer, which means the explosion of summer squash at the farmers market is just beginning. More than just the common zucchini, summer squash varieties come in different shapes, sizes, and shades of yellow and green, some of which you can only find at the farmers market.

As we enter summer squash season, we’ve collected some common types you’ll cross paths with at the farmers market, along with some flavorful and creative ways to prepare them.
