Man makes threats when complaining about six-week-old salty ham: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter
A Honey Baked Ham employee said Dec. 23 that a customer called to complain about a ham that was too salty. She said the ham was picked up Nov. 11 and when she told him that she could not do anything for him without a receipt, he and his son screamed and swore at her.

Fire chief called in to confirm safety on bleachers at swim meet: Gates Mills Police Blotter
Officers and the fire chief responded to Gilmour Academy Dec. 27 after a caller at a swim meet reported that there may be too many spectators sitting on the bleachers. The chief felt there were no issues with the capacity of people.
