Her Kaling International production company will produce her new series in association with Warner Bros. TV, Warner Horizon Scripted TV or the TV Group’s digital studio, Blue Ribbon Content.

Starz announced series development of Kin, a multi-generational family drama from writer Davita Scarlett (Queen Sugar, Constantine) and Hello Sunshine. Werner is the chairman of real-life British soccer team Liverpool; he’ll exec produce the new series.

Netflix renewed horror series The Haunting of Hill House for another season, just four months after it debuted on the streamer and became a breakout hit. In a twist, it’s going to be an anthology series with a new name - The Haunting of Bly Manor - new story and new characters. Creator, exec producer and director Mike Flanagan and exec producer Trevor Macy will continue at the helm under a multiyear overall television deal with Netflix.

Pablo and Juan de Dios Larraín’s Fabula signed a first-look deal with Fremantle to develop original English- and Spanish-language dramas that Fremantle will distribute. Fabula, the production house behind Oscar winner A Fantastic Woman, already was collaborating with Fremantle on an eight-part Spanish-language psychological thriller.
