Robert Greenblatt, former head of NBC Entertainment, has been named Chairman of WarnerMedia Entertainment and Direct-to-Consumer, overseeing HBO, TNT, TBS, truTV and the company’s upcoming direct-to-consumer business, while Jeff Zucker expands his role to Chairman of WarnerMedia News & Sports and President of CNN. Warner Bros. Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara adds a new global kids and young adults business to his purview, and Gerhard Zeiler will be elevated from President of Turner International to WarnerMedia Chief Revenue Officer.

The news comes after the resignations last week of HBO CEO RichardPlelper and Turner President David Levy.
