RATINGS Few shows made headway against the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the first week of summer. Ignoring the downtrend, however, was Chicago PD (0.9 Live+SD national Nielsen rating, up 13% from the prior week), which broke out with one of the largest percentage increases among all syndicated strips. On the game show front, Family Feud (6.1, down 3%) led the category for the third straight week over Jeopardy! (5.6, down 2%), followed by Wheel of Fortune (5.2, down 5%). The top three talkers lost ground, too. Dr. Phil (2.3, down 4%) aired reruns all five days but still finished first in the genre for the 147th consecutive week. Live with Kelly and Ryan (1.9, down 10%) aired only taped and repackaged shows but still beat Ellen DeGeneres (1.6, down 6%) for the 18th week in a row. The season’s top show in household ratings, Judge Judy (5.9, down 3%) was heavily preempted and partially in repeats. Meanwhile, on the magazine front, Entertainment Tonight jumped 11% and Extra shot up 25% in the key W25-54 demographic. Saints & Sinners Season 4 premiere on Bounce was the number one most-watched program on Sunday night. The show averaged 751,000 Total Viewers, an increase of +10% over the show’s season three premiere, and delivered 590,000 Households (+12%) to set the record as the most-watched program in Bounce history. My Lottery Dream Home delivered a .68 Live+3D season to date rating among P25-54 on Friday. Since premiering in April, the HGTV series has outperformed year-ago levels by 33% in that demo and garnered more than 14.1 million Total Viewers.
