Tonight’s Premieres HBO: Catherine the Great at 10p HGTV: Rock the Block at 9p Nat Geo: Lost Cities with Albert Lin at 9p Univision: Cuna de Lobos at 9p Tonight’s Finales ID: Twisted Sisters at 10p Smithsonian Channel: Private Lives of the Windsors at 8p IN THE NEWS President Trump’s re-election campaign threatened to sue CNN over “a sustained barrage of unfair, unfounded, unethical and unlawful attacks,” according to a four-page letter from an attorney representing Trump and his campaign, which claims the news net is violating the Lanham Act for making misrepresentations to the public and advertisers. “This is nothing more than a desperate PR stunt and doesn’t merit an response,” responded CNN. Bless the Harts has made it to season two on Fox. The animated comedy may not be burning up the Nielsens - averaging a modest 3.3 million viewers across platforms and a 1.0 among A18-49 in Live+7 Nielsens - but the brass has faith it’s a good fit. “Bless the Harts is an incredibly sharp, yet sweet, series that complements the Fox Animation Domination block perfectly,” said Entertainment President Michael Thorn. “It simply doesn’t get much better than having a comedy anchored by talent like Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, Jillian Bell and Kumail Nanjiani.” NBC is keeping freshman Bluff City Law in place for its 10-episode order, but has not ordered additional episodes of the legal drama starring Jimmy Smits. The show dipped to a Live+SD low of 3.4 million viewers and 0.5 among A18-49 last week. Tom Brady was not pleased with the suggestion that he was parodying New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s prostitution arrest in a promo for Netflix comedy Living With Yourself, in which the quarterback exits what looks like a strip mall massage parlor. “That’s not what that was about,” Brady scolded ESPN. “I think that was taken out of context, just like you’re taking it out of context and trying to make it a story for yourself, which has a negative connotation to it, which I don’t appreciate. It was meant to be something different than that.” Brady allegedly took the cameo before Kraft was busted.
