The net also gave a script commitment plus penalty to a drama about women in the FBI from Monica Macer (Queen Sugar), Thruline and 20th Century Fox TV.
J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm) inked a talent holding and development deal with 20th Century Fox Television calling for the comedian/actor/writer to develop, exec produce and potentially star in a comedy series under his Four Square Miles Inc.
Entertainment One acquired the TV rights to the book Sons and Soldiers: The Untold Story of the Jews Who Escaped the Nazis and Returned with the U.S. Army to Fight Hitler by Bruce Henderson, with Eric Tuchman (The Handmaid’s Tale) set to write and David Ayer (Bright) to direct.

SNL alum Molly Shannon will reprise her role of Valerie Bassett on NBC’s Will & Grace. Shannon played Val for five episodes in the show’s original run, as well as last season. Will Bomer will return for three more episodes as TV anchor McCoy Whitman.
