Amid reports that Megyn Kelly is preparing to leave NBC News, came a tweet from NBC News this morning saying NBC News and Megyn Kelly are in talks about the anchor leaving the network. Reports of Kelly’s exit followed the Today anchor’s suggestion last week that putting on “blackface” isn’t necessarily racist. The remark drew outrage and Kelly apologized, but on Thursday NBC announced her shows would be reruns until further notice. Kelly was halfway through a three-year contract.
