RATINGS
Judge Judy (new season high 7.3 L+SD national rating, up 6% from the week before) blew away all first-run and off-net competition with more than 10.3 million daily viewers as the November sweep got underway in the session ending October 28. The only other courtroom show to score an increase was Hot Bench (2.3, up 5%), which matched its season high and ranked as the number three show in daytime.
Topping the talkers for the 112th consecutive week was Dr. Phil (four-week high 2.9, up 4%). Live with Kelly and Ryan (2.2, up 5%) placed second, while Ellen DeGeneres (2.0, unchanged) finished third. Also of note, Steve Harvey’s Steve (1.3) rose 20 % in its target W25-54.
Univision delivered its highest-rated weekly primetime performance in the 2018/2019 season the week of October 29 with 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, A18-49 and 247,000 A18-34. In addition, Univision’s premiere of Jesus reached 3.5 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned-in to all or part of the Monday night airing. The series averaged 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 753,000 A18-49 and 315,000 A18-34, placing the net among the top-rated broadcast networks in the 8p hour and for the entire night.
