The Celebration Bowl announced that the Air Force Reserve has renewed its title sponsorship of the game. Operated by ESPN Events, the fourth annual Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl is a championship-style game between the division champions of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). The game will once again be televised on ABC at noon on Dec. 15 from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Express, Inc. inked a multiyear expanded partnership with the NBA and formally launched its second "NBA Game Changers" campaign and Performance Collection featuring NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo, Mo Bamba, Trae Young, John Collins and Jamal Murray. As part of its expanded partnership with the NBA, Express will also introduce a collection of licensed apparel, available in-store and online beginning this fall.
Diamond Resorts partnered with Insurance Office of America to name the full-service insurance agency the “Official Sponsor of the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions” and “Official Insurance Broker of the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions.” The event will serve as the LPGA Tour’s season opener with competition running Jan. 17-20, 2019 at Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons Resort Orlando.
Tough Mudder announced a global partnership naming activewear brand Alanic as their Official Apparel Partner. The multi-year partnership will launch at the 2018 World’s Toughest Mudder on Nov. 10 in Atlanta. As part of the partnership, Alanic will outfit all finishers, TM Staff and volunteers across Tough Mudder’s portfolio of events in 2019 and 2020.

MSG Networks and Complex Networks locked in an expanded content partnership that will bring up to 80 new episodes from a slate of Complex’s digital shows to television. The episodes will air as part of the network's “MSG Shorts” programming, following select Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and Devils games this year. MSG Networks will air new episodes from seven of Complex’s original series, including two of its flagship shows, Sneaker Shopping and Hot Ones. The programming lineup will also include episodes of Sean in the Wild, Complex Closets, Food Grails, The Culture and Jobs Unlisted.
The International Tennis Hall of Fame’s first ever fan vote saw Chinese tennis great and two-time Grand Slam tournament champion Li Na finish in first place, garnering the highest number of fan votes from among the eight candidates. Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic of Croatia finished in second place; and Mary Pierce of France, who won singles titles at the Australian Open and Roland-Garros, finished in third place.

ESP Gaming unveiled its premier plans for the first-ever World Showdown of Esports. The multi-genre esports tournament series will open on Oct. 14-15 with top competitors of Dota 2. The action can be seen live on twitch.tv/WSOE coming out of the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Competing teams, featuring veteran players and rising stars – including compLexity Gaming, Alliance, Team Serenity, J.Storm, The Final Tribe, Happy Guys, ROOONS, and Pain X – will play for $100,000 in cash prizes. WSOE also revealed that ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) will be the official hardware sponsor of the tournament series.
TwitchCon 2018 confirmed its lineup of sponsors and esports events ahead of this year’s gathering, which begins on Oct. 26 in San Jose, CA. Overall, more than 140 exhibitors will take part in this year’s festivities, with premier sponsors and activations that include: Kakao Games; Legion, by Lenovo; Level up TwitchCon with Twitch Prime; and the Intel Streamer Zone. On the competitive gaming front, play will include the Broadcaster Royale: Omen Challenge, the Doritos Bowl, the Fortnite Fall Skirmish - Grand Final and Games Done Quick.
ELEAGUE saw last Friday’s episode of the CS:GO Premier score a new record as the most-viewed esports program in the history of cable TV. The episode generated an average of nearly 700,000 viewers.
