50 years ago, a girl tucked a letter inside the wall of a local home. It's been found

Sunnyland carpenter Dakota Mohn found this message in a bottle tucked behind a wall in a circa 1872 house in Green Valley he was renovating after a fire. It was written and left there by Stephanie Herron Poit when she lived there in 1975. Poit lives in New York now and was excited to learn her note had been discovered in May of 2023.

Stephanie Poit wrote a letter about life in 1975 and put it inside a wall in her house in Green Valley, Illinois. She's shocked it's been found 48 years later.
