Santa, portrayed by Recreation Therapy Manager James Potter, has lots of help from the community in spreading cheer at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua this year. A simple Facebook request on Dec. 1 had -- as of Monday -- resulted in an avalanche of over 3,100 cards, letters, drawings and ornaments for the residents of the skilled-nursing facility.
