Peoria family fights to have home annexed into Dunlap School District

Matthew Seipold, right, 11, and sister Izzy, 17, stand with some of their neighborhood friends and classmates in the driveway of their home of ten years on W. South Forest Trail in the Ravinwoods subdivision. Their parents John Seipold and Zilda Delgado were recently informed that their children, who've always attended Dunlap Schools, will now have to attend Peoria Public Schools because their home actually falls within PPS boundaries. The couple are trying to get the property annexed into the Dunlap district to avoid separating their kids from their friends.
