Popular Peoria restaurant pauses operations after staff member's death

Cyd's in the Park's restaurant space will operate as an event center and pause normal business as it grieves Justin Knight's sudden passing.

Logan H. Smith, 15, of Washington was pronounced dead Monday at a farm pond in rural Roanoke, according to Woodford County Corner Tim Ruestman.

The owners of the local business have moved on from the location at Northwoods Mall in Peoria, Illinois.

The Lakeview Park project will be funded by state grant money.
