The Spotted Cow, a fixture at 718 W. Glen Avenue in Peoria came under new ownership in 2016 after founder Frank Abdnour retired. Abdnour started the business in 1987. The restaurant closed at the end of January 2023 and is currently up for sale.

After minor renovations, the new upscale restaurant aims to open in Peoria in late July.
