Good morning,

Yesterday was an extraordinary day for the Central Belt.

We found out that all pubs in these five areas have been ordered to close their doors after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon tightened lockdown rules across the Central Belt of Scotland.

Ms Sturgeon said that due to the higher infection rate tighter restrictions were needed.

You can read a detailed recap of all yesterday's events here.

Our hospitality sectors are struggling immensely and these latest restrictions are a severe blow. We must support them.

Do you understand the latest regulations?

We need to follow the government guidance to stay safe, the majority of us can agree on this. However, it's fair to say the rules are getting complicated.

We asked you on our Facebook page to tell us the questions you wanted answered. We were flooded with responses.
