First up today we've been sent a startling video showing a woman on an EasyJet plane about to leave Belfast for Scotland deliberately coughing on passengers and screaming ‘everyone dies’.

Don't be like this woman. Please wear a mask in indoor areas and follow Scottish Government guidance.

UK's 'chumocracy'

It's a busy day in the opinion section today.

Lesley Riddoch writes that Scots are not impressed by Britain's "chumocracy" after It was revealed this weekend that Britain’s first black archbishop John Sentamu has been ‘snubbed’ by Number Ten and left off the latest Honours List.
Lesley adds  "it helps demonstrate that Scotland is increasingly standing alone, with her own modern, egalitarian standards, and not those of a rudderless and status-obsessed Mother Ship."

'Boris Johnson can preserve the Union by getting Brexit right'

Columnist Brian Monteith believes the Prime Minister can save the Union if he gets Brexit right.

"Brexit is not yet done, but if done right the lessons from it make secession harder and will preserve the union – not break it. This is why Johnson must deliver on his promises."
