Brazil: Rio’s ex-governor Cabral sentenced to 14 years for corruption

Sergio Cabral was sentenced to fourteen years and two months in prison for passive corruption and money laundering in the Lava Jato (Car Wash) graft on Tuesday. The former governor, accused of receiving millions in kickbacks from public works has been in jail since November 2016.
