* Northern Ireland has recorded its highest daily Covid-19 death toll since February.
Eleven further deaths of patients who previously tested positive for the virus were notified by the Department of Health on Wednesday.

* Anti-vaccine protesters have been likened to the Taliban by one of Northern Ireland’s leading doctors.
Dr Tom Black, the Northern Ireland chair of the British Medical Association, made the comment specifically about protestors targeting pregnant women at a vaccine clinic held in Londonderry recently.

* Last Saturday 2021 ‘will be ray of joy after dispiriting 18 months of Covid’.
The Sovereign Grand Master of the Royal Black Preceptory has said that the upcoming marches on Saturday August 28 will offer loyalists a sliver of joy after a “dispiriting” 18 months of coronavirus and lockdowns.

* Northern Ireland property sales soar and prices rise as the housing market booms.
There are fresh signs of Northern Ireland’s booming property market in a survey which shows high levels of sales.
