SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Omni 1:26 And now, my beloved brethren, I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved. Click Here!

QUOTE OF THE DAY Ezra Taft Benson
“We are meeting the adversary every day. The challenges of this era will rival any of the past, and these challenges will increase both spiritually and temporally. We must be close to Christ, we must daily take His name upon us, always remember Him, and keep His commandments” (“Come unto Christ,” October 1987 General Conference). Click Here

1845 - Two brethren charged with the destruction of the Nauvoo Expositor press were tried before Judge Purple. Jesse P. Harmon and John Lytle, who were charged with the destruction of the press, were policemen acting under direction of the Nauvoo City Council when the press was destroyed. The prosecution witness could not positively identify the men were involved and the jury returned with a not guilty verdict. Thus fulfilled the prophecy of the Prophet Joseph that nothing would harm the men involved in the destruction of the press. For More Church History, Click Here!
Come Unto Christ by Ezra Taft Benson "Come unto Christ, and be perfected in Him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; . . . And love God with all your might, mind and strength. " (Moroni 10: 32) President Benson said the gospel of Jesus Christ "is the perfect prescription for all human problems and social ills. But His gospel is effective only as it is applied in our lives. . Unless we do His teachings, we do not demonstrate faith in Him. "In one sense, we live in the worst of times, because sin seems to be almost everywhere and is increasing. Never has the devil been so well organized, and never has he had so many emissaries working for him. His thrust seems to be at everything that is good and uplifting and character-building. Particularly his thrust is at the home and family and at our youth. The basic principles and ideals for the past are being challenged today as never before. On the other hand, we live in the best times. The gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored in its fullness, CLICK HERE!
