Advocates for environmentalists and farm workers attempted to convince a three-judge panel on Monday to set aside the US Environmental Protection Agency's decision to allow the use of a herbicide called glyphosate — the active ingredient in Roundup. While unlikely to order a ban on glyphosate, the three-judge panel seems to believe the EPA shirked its duty to take a hard look at its effects on health and the environment.
