| Firefighters are working to make sure a blaze that erupted at a magnesium factory in south suburban Dixmoor overnight stays out. Crews had the fire under control by early Thursday morning and it is now extinguished, but not before the building was destroyed. |

The bill requires public employers to provide benefits that include cancer screening examinations every three years of employment. |
