With distributors ‘expanding their services,’ the Frankfurt Book Fair and the IPDA introduce a new event, at which distributors and publishers can learn and network.

 

To celebrate France as the 2017 Guest of Honor in Frankfurt, booksellers from NYC’s Albertine store highlighted new French titles at the start of the rentrée littéraire for US editors and publishers.

Five finalists are named in each of four categories for a total 20 contenders for National Book Award. Winners will be announced in mid-November.

Publishing legend Fred Kobrak, 1928-2016, will be remembered by his colleagues, friends, and family at a memorial during this year's Frankfurt Book Fair. RSVP to attend.
