The Association of American Publishers finds international backing for its lawsuit of Maryland's new library digital book licensing law.

The Costa Book Awards program, in its 50th year, names category winners: first novel, novel, biography, poetry, and children's books.

Eighteen titles will receive English PEN translation grants. These books have been translated into English from Arabic, Farsi, Catalan, Spanish, French, Chinese, Hindi, and more.
