Meditation is not contemplation, meditation is not prayer, meditation is not the pursuit of a particular method or system. The method or system conditions the mind, and what the method or system offers, you will get. But what you get will be a dead thing. It is like having a dull, stupid mind that is disciplined through a system and refuses to think anymore. It has lost all pliability, all sensitivity; it is no longer fresh.
